Green and Gold?

I was wondering if Jurgens was planning on making Booster and Guy unlikely friends. Not really Blue and Gold like buds but more of a bickering duo. I always thought they'd get along pretty well if they understood each other better. They even share similar backrounds with horrible father figures and football. I do agree with Batman that Guy will be willing to follow him if he proves himself a capable leader. Unlike other leaders that embarrassed him in front of the team (Batman) Booster gives him credit.

Ted Kord might be alive

Didio and others haven't commented on questions about Kords' company appearing in DCnU prompting many to question if Teds' alive. If he is doesn't that take away from Booster series? Was he ever Blue Beetle? Was he ever friends with Booster?

Redemption

There are certain things I love seeing in a storyline that resonate with me. Redemption is pretty high up on my list of themes I enjoy exploring. I remember seeing Star Wars and being blown away by the idea that it's never too late. When written right it gives the characters such depth and pathos. It's a huge reason for me preferring Angel the series over Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I think it plays a part of my interest in certain characters.

Worlds Finest

I don't know what to expect out of this title. I don't know much about Earth 2 but I don't need to as interviews suggests it's changed (Helenas' Robin outfit seems to prove this.)

I miss Rip

I mean I miss a lot of things about Boosters' series like Trixie, Michelle, Skeets, Daniel, Rose, Broderick, Black Beetle, time travel, the time lab and all that. I'm beyond frustrated that we never learned Black Beetles' ID. But I miss seeing Boosters' interactions with Rip. His dry humor, his sense of adventure, master minding schemes and despite being a genius never shying away from diving into the action. Unlike his dad he usually had pretty good fashion sense.

As a late Valentines Day enjoy Pre-Crisis Bonnie and Rip being a couple.

That's sweet but kind of weird Bonnie.

I just love how quickly he decks that guy once he hears Bonnies' complaint. And that guys' expression is very creepy.

It's hard to mix time travel, leering robots and romance. More so when you bring your best friend and her kid brother along.

Batman Hush

I got this in trade because I heard a great deal of praise. I'm not going to go through an entire play by play but here are my thoughts on it.

Hawkwoman, Powergirl and Batman

I think these dolls look alright in general but there's a reason I'm keeping myself from buying them. Three. The cost, the scale and the male figures. They did Mera and Aquaman but not Hawk or any of the other Titan guys. Not yet anyway. They haven't done male figures as much. Look at the difference between Hawkwomans' mask and Batmans' cowl.

Anton "Snake Eyes" Montrose

"Snake Eyes" was a friend of Boosters' although the origin of their relationship was a bit sketchy. He was a bookie that Booster couldn't be seen with once he became a big shot college quarterback. Booster took him up on his offer to earn some quick cash when things took a turn for the worse with his mother. In this version the high rollers didn't want to let a star like him go thus he had to keep up their deal. This ended his friendship with Snake Eyes.

There were many retellings of Boosters' origin with new details usually popping up. Snake Eyes was introduced in the flashback Booster shares with Ted Kord.

Where is he now?: Last mentioned in Justice League Generation Lost #5. The cop tells Booster that they caught Anton "Snake Eyes" Montrose on a drug charge but they know he's a bookie. He says that Snake Eyes had Booster betting on his own games and throwing them. The offer is for Booster to help them nab Snake Eyes boss.

There are a lot of complaints that I've seen online but there's a new one that just makes me laugh.
