I never get statues but this one is so cute that I'm tempted. There's so much personality from all the boys. The only thing I'd change is switching Barbara to Cass.

Old Comics I need to buy

Because I'm going to forget if I don't make a list. I'll probably get most of these digitally, if I can. Some of these are supposed to be terrible but there are some really good titles listed too.

New Guardians isn't on digital yet?

Because I've been waiting to read that series ever since I read Millennium.

Batman Day Digital Sale

I was worried that with Harley Quinn "taking over" Batman Day the only titles that would be on sale would be ones with her in the books. That's not the case and I think this might be a bigger selection than the previous years. There's more Jason Todd trades (although no new ones) and Cassandra Cain appears in a lot. There's also the usual titles I've already read or have no interest in reading. But I'm happy with the ones listed that don't fit either of those categories.

Some thoughts on the solicits.

Jack Kirby inspired comics

To celebrate the 100th birthday of a comic legend DC is releasing some comics based on his creations. What I get will be based on who the creative teams are though I'm already intrigued. We'll learn who is working on these in the solicits.

Getting a bad mini series

I enjoyed Millennium and since I've been read back issues of Wonder Woman I've been thinking of getting Amazons Attack. It sounds like it isn't just bad but also entertaining.

What to read next

I realized that I don't have many current titles on my list this year and I'm wondering if I should check out any other titles. I'm not getting anything from Marvel but if anyone has ideas of what other series I can read let me know.

I'm also going through some back issues of Wonder Woman and I adore it. I'm not sure how much I'll read but I'm already considering what older series I should try next. I'm thinking of TT, possibly Superman or Batman. I'm not sold on anything yet so any suggestions would be welcomed.

For digital comics, mostly Dick and Tim comics. A few WAR issues yet Damian oddly seems to be the official Robin with the least amount of comics in the sale.

A crossover and a mini series both ending this month. A lot less hectic than December.

Booster Gold Vol. 1 goes Digital

The first volume finally comes onto digital starting with issues 1 and 2. Woo!

Digital Batman Books

There's a some issues on sale for .99 cents although it feels a little uneven in terms of character selection. I was pleasantly surprised to see Cassandras' series. Later on their supposed to have graphic novels for $3.99 and Batman Days' BaRE book and I think a preview book (unless their the same one) free.

What titles would you do?

I've been longing for another series to follow and thinking what could fill the gap. Here's some ideas:

• Time Masters/Booster Gold: I've been over this a few times but it needs to star Booster, Rip, Skeets and Michelle.
• Magic Title: I'm not sure what but I loved Sword of Sorcery, Demon Knights, and some of JLD. I'd really love to see something done with the first two series. Mystic U was delayed without us ever getting details. It might be interesting.
• Batwoman: With a new writer because I miss the old Kate. And if their not going to use Bette let someone else use her.
• Robin Chronicles: I really feel like these stories need to be told of Dick, Jason and Tims' Robin days. It feels like we're missing a lot. With the right writer this could be amazing.
• New Superhero: I really like Doomed and how it created a new character to follow. It even has a pretty obscure one making a return. It's fun to see new blood and I welcome the chance to have more new series. I just need to be sold on the concept and creative team.

That's all I can think of at the moment. I'd like different takes for certain characters that I don't like being revamped but that's another list. I might also like to see something done after Titans Hunt depending on how good it is.

New Booster Gold Series ?

Honestly this is just a rumor for now since it currently has no source but I'm kinda desperate for comic news on Booster. At least any news that doesn't have to do with JL3001. If this is true Jurgens might not be involved since he's on Batman Beyond. I'm curious how it would be done since everything we thought we knew got turned on its head.

DC have been attempting to do something with Booster for awhile although plans seem to have changed more than once. So even if the rumor is true it doesn't mean they can't fall through. There are a lot of loose ends from Convergence that need to be explored. Skeets needs to be there and so does Rip. And oddly enough the new Boosters' origin needs to be explained since we don't know who hired him and who was working on the time sphere. We may be in for a surprise.
