Starfire Dumbed Down?
I already saw some of this in the Sneak Peek but apparently everyone I've talked to online has said the same thing about the Starfire #1 preview. I haven't read it because I don't want to get pissed off but I'm tempted if only to see how bad it is.
-For anyone interested on digital comics, the 40 issues of RHATO are available at 1 dollar each during this week.
-Red Hood/Arsenal WAS FANTASTIC!!!!
Just a wild ride from beginning to end, both boys had their chance to shine, Medri's art was very, VERY superior to what we saw on the sneak peek (it helps that the colorist were way better this time), all the banter and humor that made RHATO so great is there...seriously guys you HAVE to pick this up.
I noticed the sale and plan on getting some issues,
I might get Red Hood/Arsenal digitally too just to show my support and avoid reading the Twix ad. It's good to hear that the colorist was better, I take that to mean they got Jasons' costume right. Well I'll see later on. This is the issue I'm most excited about this month.
Indeed, Jason's costume got its colors fixed and Medri's looks more polished that it was on the Sneak Peek. Writing is as strong as ever and well, is the little things that makes it great.
Don't read it, is not worth it.
ReplyDeleteTwo good news though

ReplyDeleteJust read it and I have to agree with all that. Too bad it isn't weekly.
ReplyDeleteI know, is gonna be a long month until issue 2
ReplyDeleteWell on the bright side solicits are coming up soon. That means a new cover image and summary. Maybe Medri will share some artwork too.
ReplyDeleteHope we get a peek at Sera Fina.
ReplyDeleteI love Medri's willingness to share his designs and sketches for the series. Wish he would do a cover, I'm not feeling Porter's.
I'm not either and I'm using okay with Porters' work. It comes across as too "90s" and made me hate Jasons' costume when I first saw it.
