Joker pays a visit to Slade Wilson/Deathstroke and gets his attention by letting it slip that he knows who Batman is and knows that Slade has this information too. Part of his play for taking down Batman involves taking his money and he talks about five trust funds set up for the "baby bats." Presumably four of them are set up for the Robins, Joker even offers to give Slade the trust fund that would be left for Dick.
Anyway Joker comments that one of them is dead. Is he referring to Jason? Because he's not legally dead, Jason changed his legal status in the Prince of Gotham arc in his own title. He literally appeared on tv in an interview with Vicki Vale, so no one should be ignorant of this. King at least had a shot of Jason working behind a desk (like he did during that time after taking over the Iceberg) so editorial should at least be aware of that plot. That's kind of a big plot point since his ID can definitely be traced back to the other bats now.
I guess Joker could mean Alfred but he doesn't fit the "baby bat" description. I kept forgetting Alfred died but maybe Joker means that all that's left is the trust funds for the bat kids?
