It gave us a Batwoman (Katy Kane) and Bat-Girl (Betty Kane) set with Ace and Batmite.
Several Teen Titans, JSA, Justice League members, New Gods, even supporting characters like Jimmy Olsen. But there was some problems behind the scenes too. Minimates became popular yet the DC line died after a few waves while Marvel thrived for years. Fans demanded more but it never amounted to anything. There were a lot of stories but slowly but surely lesser known/popular characters rarely got figures anymore. Scale problems, painting issues, figures broke and popular lines ended before they really picked up.
Todd Mcfarlane said his company would start off testing the water, seeing what works and using designs from comics, movies and cartoons. He's had a heavily emphasis on Bat characters, in fact an upcoming wave will be nothing but Death Metal Bat figures. I'd love the bat family and hope we get a full roster, but I'm not loving the different types of Bruce Wayne. Here's what I'd love to see but kind of doubt we'll get (all of them are based on comic looks) :
Wonder Woman:
- Queen Hippolyta, either her WW look or in armor.
- Wonder Woman, I'd love one based on the art of Perez.
- Nubia, either her silver costume or her WW costume.
- Philippus, we can always have more armored Amazons.
- Silver Swan, the Nessie version
- Donna Troy, she has a lot of costumes to choose from.
- Cassandra Sandsmark, same.
- Artemis Grace, her RHATO is my favorite costume but there could be a WW variant.
- Steve Trevor
- Circe
- Lois Lane
- Supergirl
- Steel
- Superboy (Conner)
- Superboy (Jon/Super Sons aged version)
- Lex Luthor
Batman:
- Batwoman (all the masked characters should have maskless heads)
- Spoiler
- Batgirl (Cassandra Cain)
- Flamebird
- Red Robin (Tim Drake)
- Robins (Dick Grayson, New 52 Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown. I think we're getting a Damian Wayne.)
- Booster Gold (Variants with and without the collar)
- Starfire
- Arsenal
- Bizarro
- Cyborg
