Why go to the effort?

On tumblr someone apparently went to the trouble of finding what seems to be a causally dressed Artemis and Jason kissing by Dexter Soy. I never saw it before nor do I know the story behind it. I'm guessing it was a commission? Yet the ones posting it covered up the actual kiss ? Them and a reposter don't like the pairing but why post it in the first place?

I have to admit I'm not looking forward to where the solicits has this arc going which made me more reluctant to read my current favorite series. This review wasn't written while I was reading the comic like I normally do.
