The New Students Designs

SPOILERS AHEAD

Vessel/Caden

The character hasn't shown up in any of the covers yet but he appeared before the other students in RHATO Annual # 3 volume 2. Vessel can tap into the abilities of the dead. His first appearance was a little sinister since Jason threatened him and Jason is known for not harming children. It seems a little less disturbing with the character sheet that reveals that Vessel is "an artifact in a form of a kid."

DNA

The student are pretty diverse in general and DNA is a genderqueer character. Not much is known until the new issue(s) comes out but I suspect with the amorphous description that DNA can control their DNA to change their form anyway they choose. Hence the extra arms and (at least in the image) no legs.

Cloud 9

I think Marvel has a character that shares the name which might be why Jason mistakenly called her "Cloud Girl" in the preview. Curiously she has no text to give any description in her character sheet. Her powers seems to be weather based. I'm not a fan of the clown like face she has. I do like the logo and the "cape" that seems to be made out of a straight jacket. That seems to hint that she might be unstable.

Devour

He's Korean, romantic and a metal eater. Judging by the art I guess he can change his body into any metal thing he wants.

Babe in Arms

I didn't listen to the podcast yet but I heard the person holding the baby is her dead mother that she is being used like a puppet by the daugther. Just like Cloud 9 there's no text to describe anything about Babe in Arms.

Doomed is apparently being rebooted but (so far) his new design hasn't been released.
