The New Ted Kord Plot

I didn't see this coming.

SPOILERS AHEAD
Apparently Tom Taylor, who's known for writing Injustice and Dceased, just revealed that the person in charge of the new Suicide Squad is Ted Kord. Some are worried that Ted seems to be acting like Max Lord but this could easily be a red herring. Plus the dark Multiverse is still a thing so this might be the evil one from the one shot.

Personally I'm not too upset, there's a lot of possible explanations for this. And frankly this could be a storyline that helps remove the comedy relief stigma he's had for awhile by reminding people how dangerous he (whether a double or not) can be. At this stage I'm still somewhat positive. Admittedly I might not feel the same way if this was a different writer.
