DC Solicits for November 2018

Doomsday Clock is on my list but there's not much to say at this point. I'm happy that Shazam has a title since its been requested for some time. I might get it.

The holidays are tough enough as it is, but when you’re living in a post-apocalyptic wasteland (or, you know, 2018) the world can seem bleaker than ever. So do yourself a favor this holiday season, break out your best eggnog and enjoy 10 all-new stories featuring the World’s Greatest Heroes, including looks at the futures of Batman, Superman and the Flash, as well as many more denizens of the DC Universe.
PRESTIGE FORMAT
ON SALE 11.28.18
$9.99 US | 80 PAGES

I want to get something Christmas-y but I don't see any mentions of my favorite characters which makes the price tag too steep.

HEROES IN CRISIS #3 written by TOM KING
art and cover by CLAY MANN
variant cover by RYAN SOOK
The Man of Steel versus…Booster Gold?! Superman finds out the hard way that Booster can be a formidable opponent when his back’s against the wall. Of course, being the prime suspect in a superhero massacre and exposing a secret trauma hospital for metahumans will do just that. Meanwhile, Batman and the Flash combine their detective skills to investigate what went awry at Sanctuary and uncover a serious glitch in the system—not to mention an explosive, spoiler-ific secret!
ON SALE 11.28.18
$3.99 US | 3 of 7 | 32 PAGES

I'd normally LOVE to read about Booster being a formidable opponent especially against Superman. But not when King is writing. And something going wrong in a system of holograms and robots dealing with mentally ill superpowered patients. ...I think two thirds of the reactions I've read since this series was announced were about how ridiculous this idea is. With all the potentially bad things that could happen it's amazing it took five years for it to finally happen.

RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS #28 written by SCOTT LOBDELL
art and cover by PETE WOODS
variant cover by YASMINE PUTRI
Welcome to the Underlife, Jason Todd—you probably won’t survive! Banished from Gotham City and estranged from the Outlaws, Red Hood takes up residence in Appleton, a would-be American town that’s a secret haven for the criminal operators. When RH gets his hands on a crowbar and starts handing out some bloody justice, it really stirs up the hornet’s nest. And when a new Underlife member is introduced, Jason’s gonna get stung by the trouble he caused.
ON SALE 11.14.18
$3.99 US | 32 PAGES

Kind of vague for what the plot is. Last solicit was about Jason being contacted by someone so is this a mission he's doing based on who he meets?
