Who will Jason forgive?

"One day you'll see love alone don't fix anything." -Willis Todd

It stuck me that Jason is in a position we don't often see him in. A lot of people wronged him and (three) seem to want redemption/forgiveness. But Jason might struggle with that and not be willing to get over it.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Willis Todd: We know he's said to have been a terrible father. How bad? We'll have to see but there's been hints in Lobdell' s other Red Hood runs. We know he's already regretful and was able to convince Jason he cared with the letters. It might not be smooth sailing but Jason will likely be more receptive to hearing him out. Especially with what happened with Bruce.

I'm thinking Jason might forgive him at first but their have a falling out later on. It may depend on why Willis brought the trio together. Given his past connection to Luthor and Artemis it seems highly suspicious.

Batman: At the moment Bruce doesn't seem to care besides the fact Jason broke his promise. Bruce is far more focused on himself now but he REALLY messed up bad. He might think Jason needs to earn his forgiveness despite beating Jason bloody. It seems inevitable that DC will force everything to be swept under the rug without Bruce facing any consequences. It's already happened several times before. I don't think Jason should forgive him for a long time and through a lot of effort on Bruce's part.

Ma Gunn: Jason cared enough to save her although he's has no trouble telling Faye (Jr.) how terrible her past actions were. He didn't want her in danger because of his team but thinks that her past catching up to her is on her. Since we haven't seen much interaction between the two we haven't gotten any discussion about his time at her school. I don't think he'd feel any better to know the woman who tried to use him (and other kids) was his own grandmother. In fact I think it'd make him feel worse.

If you take a second to think about it Jason could have been raised by her and had a normal life if she gave up crime. They could have been close.

Artemis : No one seemed certain if Artemis and Jason could be a couple for awhile. Scott Lobdell said he was resisting the idea partly because there was no conflict. He said there was nothing keeping them from being together. The art teased their interest in one another. They flirted but their date seemed to be a bust. Now they kissed and things are getting complicated.

I saw one person ask why Artemis initiated the kiss. I don't think she would do it if she didn't feel something for Jason. I've seen a lot of people saying this confirms Jaytemis/Jartemis. It does and it doesn't. Yes, the kiss confirms that they both have feelings for each other...it just doesn't mean their going to be in a relationship. The set up for conflict is very high here. Artemis is vague but she apparently knows her actions as Lex Luthor' s assassin connects to Jason. Sure Willis seems alive (at least mentally?) but she knows she altered Jason's entire life.

Whatever happened (whether she killed Willis, etc.) seems like it prevented Willis from coming back for Jason. This set off several events that led to Jason's death. Can Jason forgive Artemis for her role in all of that?
