DC Solicits for January 2019

...I'm not sure what to think about some of these.

HEROES IN CRISIS #4
written by TOM KING
art by CLAY MANN
cover by TREVOR HAIRSINE
variant cover by RYAN SOOK
Wonder Woman versus…Booster Gold?! Diana finds out the hard way that Booster can be a formidable opponent when his back’s against the wall. Of course, being the prime suspect in a superhero massacre and exposing a secret trauma hospital for metahumans will do just that. Meanwhile, Batman and the Flash combine their detective skills to investigate what went awry at Sanctuary and uncover a serious glitch in the system—not to mention an explosive, spoiler-iffic secret!
ON SALE 01.02.19
$3.99 US | 4 of 9
32 PAGES | FC | RATED T+

I'm not going to lie, I genuinely laughed when I saw the cover with Wally on it because DC isn't done pissing off his fan base. Also because of how OP they have to make Harley is just so ridiculous. Although King is the same writer that had Catwoman easily take out Barry, Wally and Kid Flash (WW 2).

As for the summary, are they just taking turns fighting members of the Trinity? Booster is okay dealing with them but Harley gives him trouble? The text seems suspiciously familiar to the Booster vs. Superman solicit. Also the Trinity seem more and more incompetent as more information is released since they can't work their system. They have records even though they never kept them and patients names are being released. Oh, and why is Wally on the cover?

Teen Titans...there might be a mislead but I'm honestly not surprised if it's not. Nothing I've seen or heard sounds like Glass is following up on Jason's series. In RHATO it seems like Jason doesn't have time to make detours. Everything about this, especially Damian attacking Jason with the bloody crowbar, makes me cringe. The slight bit of hope comes with the next solicit...

RED HOOD: OUTLAW #30
written by SCOTT LOBDELL
art and cover by PETE WOODS
variant cover by PHILIP TAN
Will the Red Hood’s latest campaign be his last? Jason’s hot on the heels of the drugs he and Arsenal recently tracked to Beijing, but instead of finally encountering the mysterious Solitary, he finds himself face to face with a figure from his past. Plus, who’s the new Wingman, and why’s he tracking the Red Hood? And how can he and Jason be in the same place at the same time? Find out in “Outlaw” part five!
ON SALE 01.16.19
$3.99 US | 32 PAGES

Another "Jason"? A new Wingman is unexpected. Is Solitary connected to Underlife? This is the most fascinating one in the bunch.

I'm not getting much this month.
