Clarification on Female and Male Character Heights

Recently I've seen A LOT of grief given to an artist about Artemis' height. Yes, some panels had her noticeably shorter than she's supposed to be but I also noticed panels where she looked like she was the same height as Jason. I think some of comments were extremely harsh, especially when fans also seem to be a misunderstanding just how tall she is. One poster claims her height and Jason's is "just like Big Barda and Mr. Miracles'." It's not.

.
Granted some character bios have mistakes (like the "Requiem for Evil" Artemis bio saying she has blue eyes) but most of the information I found lists her at 6". A couple put her at 6"1' or even 6"2' but those are rarer.

Red Hood/Jason Todd has likewise had some bio discrepancies that have him listed as 6"2' but he's mostly put down as 6". A recent printing (you have to scroll down to see it in the link) confirms Artemis and Jason are the same height, 6".

This isn't the same situation as Barda and Scott where Barda always towers over him a noticeable degree. Even then Barda is either a little taller than him at 6"2' or it's a big difference with her usually at 7". There's never been any doubt that she's the taller of the two, it's also hard to forget with "big" being in her name.

If you want to talk about a female character that constantly gets shrunk down when near a male character then Starfire is the one to get annoyed about. She's supposed to be 6"4' while Dick Grayson/Nightwing is 5" 10'. Sure, artists also make Jason shorter than Dick but it's more noticeable with Kori after years of her towering over Dick.

Then we get issues where Kori looks far too short next to him (this also happens with other men she's supposed to be taller than.) See how the cover for Heroes In Crisis #1 drew Barda and Scott compared to Dick and Kori? DC needs to use character sheets and not just for consistency with costumes.
