Who is the traitor?

A run down through the list of Teen Titans.

This was a little hard because we still know so little about the Other and some of the TT members. But here's what I got just glancing through the issues.

Djinn

Why it could be her?
  • The book builds her up as someone who has a bloody past and acts suspiciously. Why would she act the way she does around Joystick if Djinn only killed under the command of a master that wore her ring? That's the story she tells Damian anyway. Surely her teammates would understand if she was forced to do bad things. Yet she threatens Joystick if he says anything about the secrets he discovered.
  • If the rumors Black Mask heard about the Other are true and the Other is ancient she is the only ones on the team that seem to fit the bill.
  • Her powers also make it easier for her to sneak into areas even ones she's not supposed to know about. We already saw her spying on Damian when she was supposed to stay in the bat cave.
Why it couldn't be her?
  • Out of all of them she seems a little too obvious.

Crush

Why it could be her?:
  • While she wouldn't be able to get into places as easily as other teammates her adoptive parents did teach her to sneak around.
Why it couldn't be her?:
  • The traitor has been more stealthy than Crush tends to be. While she is capable of it her impatience tends to get the better of her making it less likely that she'll be subtle.
  • Plus the solicits suggest she's not the traitor as she's being controlled by Lobo.

Roundhouse

Why it could be him?
  •  He's the only one in the team that Damian didn't personally pick.
  • Many seem to forget how smart Billy is. Emiko doesn't think much of him in the Annual. He comes off as the most grounded out of the team and that means he can slip under the radar.
  • While he could have simply been thrilled that he's back on the team he alerted Lady Vic of their presence.
  • Billy can make himself small so even if he wasn't in on the prison secret that doesn't mean he couldn't have figured it out.
  • He's the only one of the new characters we don't see an origin flashback of. We learn that he lost his sister, his mom helped him create his suit, he needs his suit and we never see his dad.
  • While his absence might be like he explained it he could have lied. If that's true there's a number of things he could have done to help the Other when he was off the radar. (Not counting the story of how he made his way back home.)
  • Deathstroke brings up Roundhouse hiding the fact his suit was damaged. He claims it's among the many things he hasn't told Robin.

Why it couldn't be him?
  • It seems a little too convenient that Wallace would decide to recruit him on a whim and he'd happen to be the traitor. Sure the Other might have figured out things about the team and used that to lure in Kid Flash but that might be a stretch.

Kid Flash

Why it could be him?
  • He's learned some trick from Damian such as being able to track others.
  • With his speed Wallace could do a number of things without his teammates being aware of his movements.
  • He was the first (that we see on panel) to question where Damian got his information.
  • Wallace also noticed that Damian was sneaking out.
  • According to Joystick Djinn considered Kid Flash to be the biggest threat on the team (although Robin wasn't with the team when this was said.)
Why it couldn't be him?
  • Unless mind control is in play I have a hard time believing Damian or him are connected to the Other.

Robin

Why it could be him?
  • Damian would have the most to offer the Other in terms of information and his connections to other heroes.
  • Damian is making a lot of questionable choices.
Why it couldn't be him?
  • We mostly get to see Damian's POV which makes it seem less likely that it's him unless he's being mind controlled.

Red Arrow

Why it could be her?
  • Have we ever gotten a clear idea why she's so invested in the Other? There's little to no information on them yet she's about as obsessed as Damian is.
  • She previously told Damian off panel that "working with him (Red Hood) was a bad idea" prior to #26 and reminds him of that in the issue. That's planting the idea that Jason can't be trusted which greatly reduces Damians' help and throws off the scent of the real traitor.
  • Emiko makes a point in saying that no one besides Damian anRed Hood and knew about the misson beforehand. She reinforces his doubts in Jason. Wallace noticed Damian sneaking out so it wouldn't be hard for her to follow.
  • More than Damian she knows the teams strengths and weaknesses because she trained with them. Emiko calls out what Damian for mistakes so she likely has a good idea about his weaknesses too.
  • Djinn apparently considers her the second biggest threat on the team. She has managed to take on the whole team sans Damian.
  • Her issues with her mother is a weakness she acknowledges more than once. It's something that makes her do stupid things.
  • She kills Slade when Damian won't not long after he brings up the traitor of the team releasing him and the other prisoners.
Why it couldn't be her?
  • After Djinn she seems like the most obvious suspect. Maybe too obvious.
