- Jack Ryder was a jerk at one point though not so much in other stories.
- His Creeper costume was the only one he could piece together last minute.
- Sometimes he's wearing a boa sometimes it was said to be carpet.
- He saves a scientist and is able to switch into the Creeper easily thanks to the guy's help. Jack also gets powers thanks to this device used on him.
- The level of sanity he has is questionable as it changes in different depictions. Sometimes it's written like he just enjoys messing with people and other times the Creeper persona is a little crazy. He has been written with split personalities to make his identities stand out more.
- In the Animated series he freaks out Joker.
I was surprised when I read Lobdell's more (for lack of a better term) reasonable Creeper. I'm not complaining, I think it's a nice change to show that he's not bouncing off the walls all the time and why he's not a villain. There seems to be more Jack Ryder in him which I'm guessing means no split personalities. Artemis addresses him by his real name and he doesn't act like that's someone else just prefers to be called by his codename while he's dressed as the part. He's a little confrontational with her but also a little flustered when she assumes he used his reporter skills to find her when that's not what happened.
He does mention being crazy although we haven't seen him act too out there yet. I'm drawing a blank for why Bizarro thinks they need Creeper on the team. Especially since Creeper has been confused for Joker in the past and it seems odd to want him on Jason's team.
