Linkara reviewing "The Gift"?

According to a poster on the CBR forum for Booster Gold appreciation Linkara expressed some emotions about this arc on Twitter. My computer freezes when I try to go too far back so I can't confirm this.

For those that don't know Linkara is a online reviewer of a few shows but mostly known for Atop of the Fourth Wall where he reviews bad comics. I haven't watched his reviews for a while (his plot lines weren't always for me) but I would be excited if he reviewed this arc.

Linkara is something of a Booster Gold fan. I'm not sure how big but he did a review on a comic where everyone lost their powers and Blue/Gold acted stupidly and he had a rant about how Booster Gold doesn't act like that. I think he might have ranted to Dan Jurgens in that episode, I know Jurgens showed up. Anyway it would be very satisfying to hear his thoughts.

Short Review: Flash Annual

I'm not a Flash fan per se but sometimes the stories do intrigue me. At first I planned on staying about from the Flash War story despite how compelling it looked because it's said that we'll find out who the better Flash is when it's over. Given all the attention Barry gets it seems inevitable that he'll be the victor. But I saw some scans and decided to check this out. The annual is kind of a set up issue.

Frustrations and Fun with art

I think I'm doing better than I expected with getting back into drawing but I still have lots of frustrations after not doing any art for such a long time. I don't know if I'll post anything (the scanner is too small for a lot of my work anyway) but I've mostly been doing fan art. I'll have to think of some Booster Gold art to do to cheer myself up. Maybe his family hugging him? Something simpler? I'll have to give it some thought.

Amazons Attack #3

This series is hard to get through. Not just because of the portrayals and story. It's honestly kind of boring.

Artemis' Rules of Engagement

Issue #22 showed some of Artemis' history and it makes me see the start of the series a little differently. It explains why Jason made such a big impression on her.

I also saw a review that thought Artemis was out of character and I wanted to weigh in.

King using Booster again?

Keep it mind it's not confirmed yet although it makes me what to say something. Apparently this looks like a set up by King for his other book.

Lex Luthor and Amazons

I'm not going to do a big piece (for once) but I didn't see anyone talking about this. I thought this was a really neat nod to past canon. Before RHATO had Artemis (Grace) working for him other Amazons did.

Mercy Graves- His most well known employee that used to be an Amazon.
Hope- She worked with Mercy but then things got unpleasant with Lex

I've read a little of their time working together for Lex but I wasn't really a fan of a particular run. I might read up on some later stories though.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #22 Vol. 2

Will Jason finally read the letters? What will Artemis say to Lex Luthor? What's it like for Ma Gunn living in a bottle? I'd imagine the last is rather restricting.

Who died and how does it fit?

I nearly completed my review for issue #22 when I realized there was a lot things I wanted to talk about. I decided to split some of it up.

In RHATO we learned some information about Artemis and see Solitary appear more. What does he want to happen? And who died in the flashback?

Detective Comics #790

The issue where Cassandra Cain "meets" Jason Todd when she goes with Bruce to his grave. This is a review and a look at how (intentionally or not) other books including RHATO connects to it.

The mischaracterized of Booster Gold

King isn't the first writer to get Booster wrong (he's also gotten core Bat characters wrong too) but unfortunately these mistakes have staying power.

I really don't like King 's writing

Why did he have to use Booster? Booster isn't an idiot and even if this turns out to be a different Booster this is who new fans will think the character is.
