Continuity hasn't been great for awhile, nothing new there, but King really had to add things that weren't in a previous story? I mean this is an extremely big part of the Flash plot that he ignored.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Wally West didn't remember his family when he came back. He had no idea that he had kids until Flash War which ended with Wally going to Sanctuary. King is upping the angst just to make this already contrived plot feel more depressing. It feels like it's flipping off Geoff Johns' hope for the DCU idea to proudly say "we only want stories that all full of gore and depression. Oh and Booster might be a killer now."
