Batman/Superman makes it's return!

So that's what, the ten or more Bat related book? I'll pass unless they have an issue or arc with certain characters interacting with them. Since it's going to have storylines that take place in the past it could be interesting. I'd love a updated take on how Booster meets each one of them and what they think of him.

I got this before Batman #17 could come in the mail. This issue has to do with the aftermath of DOTF as well as tie in Batman Inc. Yeah, more bat books are starting to do that.

Young Romance (Very Short review)

I don't always get holiday specials. If it has the characters or creative teams I like sure. This time I figured, why not? Some stories were better than others but my favorite bit was the Valentine cards. They should have done more. So here's a rundown:

Catwoman/Batman: The most awkward story of these two I ever read. This doesn't even sound like Selina.

Mera/Aquaman: It was okay, maybe a little cliché.

Batgirl/Ricky(?): I enjoyed this more than I thought I would even though Barbara came off as a jerk at one point.

Apollo/Midnighter: This was nicely done and made me feel for them. Since I don't know their characters well that's pretty good writing for a short piece.

Nightwing/Ursa Minor: I like Ursa and hope she's Nightwings' new love interest. Because this was the fun that's been missing from the character.

Wonder Woman/Superman: Not as painful as I expected. Wonder Woman actually shined more than Superman.

Channel 52: This was a fun surprise, basically a hint of things to come with in the new 52.

I always find this way too funny

More Action Figure Goodness

New action figures on the way! Even though it'll cost a little more since I'm not in the club I'm going to save up to get Huntress and this awesome Fire. Yeah I hate that Hush Huntress design but at least I like this Huntress compared to the new version of Helena Wayne. Bea to is great to pass up, now they just have to do a Tora.

I already have a maskless Batman Beyond so I'll pass on that but gah! What happened with Damian?! He's a ten year old! He shouldn't be that tall or muscle bound! Unless they correct that I'll pass.

I mean if they can get the Bert Ward version with skinny arms why not a ten year old character? Oh yeah, their doing the 60s Batman too. The one with the swim trunks and surf board is my favorite.

Holy Bat-Solicits!

Sword of Sorcery NO!

That series was barely out and it's cancelled?! How can a book that good end so soon and a book like Savage Hawkman go on for over 19 issues? Well I did think the $3.99 price tag was a kiss of death but still.  I also enjoyed the trade I got for I, Vampire so that's another series I liked.

I just hope they don't try to put Deathstroke in RHATO, I'm already bracing for his appearance as a foe. Slades' a character that's either done well or horrible. I've read so much of the latter that I don't care for him.

I figured Amethyst was going to Justice League Dark so I'll be picking up that book again.
 Well I will if I'm still reading DC by that point.

Are they saying that the things in WTF month were mandated? That doesn't sound fun. I'm not pleased with that I've seen so far.

JLI proving Batman has a sense of humor

Just imagine how he'd retell this to his family. Or tell them of Booster and Beetles' antics. But this is the guy that implies he hides Ollies' arrows so we know he enjoys this sort of thing. I remember it being said that J'onn always had a soft spot for this league, I can see why Bruce did too.

Adding more fuel to the fire

Because apparently they really want to rile fans up. This is supposed to be the next cover.
