The variant covers for HIC have one depicting Wonder Woman after killing Max Lord. This talks about Ted being in JL history again. I recall someone online claiming "Blue Beetle will be dead...again" when talking about HIC. Which might line up with the Booster stuff since apparently King kept showing Booster witnessing head shots.
Personally I agree with Jurgens that we should move forward and not constantly have Booster grieving. I'll be furious if his story has to do with him still grieving or still trying to save Ted.
