Should I give Nightwing a try?

I liked how Lobdell wrote Dick when he guest starred last year. I'm not a fan of the injury plot but that was already in the works. This is likely just a fill in but kind of an odd place for it. A huge change happens and the writer leaves? Does this mean Lobdell is keeping the love triangle or can he drop it?
