I was actually quite saddened to see this: Batman spying on his team-mates once again. It just smacks so much of Mark Waid's JLA story where Bats has files on how to take down his comrades should they ever go bad, and how that fed into his paranoia and the whole mind-wipe/Identity Crisis thing.
Can we not have a Batman who likes and trusts his team? Is that too much to ask for?
Yeah the writers really do tend to go overboard with Batman being paranoid and the like. That said I do like it when writer have him acting like a good friend and decent person. Like what he did for Booster, or the recent comments about him in RHATO #14.
