Where are the famous Lightsabers?

To keep track of what happened to all the important (Sith or Main leads) lightsabers in the movies. This is mostly going off of memory.

I finally got my comics! Woo!

The snow seems to have delayed shipping but I just got my long awaited haul! Several weeks of comic goodness!

Trades: Batgirl (Cassandra Cain.) The first trade was pricey has hell (at least $75) so I was pleased to finally get one at a good price when they decided to rerelease it. The last Red Hood and the Outlaws trade (I refuse to get the Tynion TPBs) before the trio were relaunched with DCYOU. Star Wars, I enjoyed the first TPB so naturally I'm going to get the next one.

Comics: I was really starting to forget that I still had to read Robin War #2, there's no way it can redeem the event. Titans Hunt has been meh but I still have a couple more issues after this. I finally get to read Green Lantern Corps Edge of Oblivion which pleases me. Back to the Future has been a near perfect. I already read Red Hood/Arsenal thanks to digital but it's still good to have in hand. Sinestro...I have no idea what to expect.

Lego mini figures

New Legos coming out! I can't get a good look at some of the Star Wars minis but DC has some near the end. Red Hood around 5:29 without a "face" on the helmet and in his RHATO outfit. Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes present too!

Alan Rickman tribute

To clarify we have some tributes done based on his Professor Snape character in Harry Potter interacting with comic characters like Constantine and movie Dr. Strange.

Batman V. Superman rumor

If it's true it ruins the follow up material since it seriously screws up Bruces' character.

Yeah, I'm not going to fall for it

I've seen plenty of people online wanting to pair up Rey with people from The Force Awakens. I'm Star Wars savvy which means there's no chance I'm going to do that. I'm not even going to think of the possibility of her ending up with anyone.

A Full Rebirth?

I've been hearing a lot of rumors about this. From DC still doesn't know what it's going to do (not encouraging) to a full scale reboot. I'm going to talk about the latter.

Rebirth, Retcons and Reboots?

 Some DC people like Dan Didio are posting this which gives some evidence for the rumors that a number of DC series will be going back to #1 around June/July. There's also talk of some books going bi-weekly. The general thought is that we're getting more retcons much like Titans Hunt.

Rip Hunters' Mentor?!

The Animated Batman Movies

The newer ones with the same art style and Damian as Robin. I just find it very hard to get interested in them. Partly because of the art style but I'm also hating the Robin snub to Jason and Tim.

Batman is so done with Event Comics

These are my absolute favorite panels from Millennium. The event was bad but it was so entertaining. The unintentionally hilarious type of bad. These two panels pretty much sum up the feelings of anyone who is sick of events and tie ins. Wonder Woman is literally telling him what happened in a tie in to explain where she was.

Rip Hunter doesn't get any respect

Yes their taking liberties with the character but come on. Rip is a fighter not a punching bag.

Red Hood/Arsenal #8

Since I still have a ways off until my haul comes in I'll review this first. Last issue was a tie in but the Roy section began a new storyline at the end.

I get the appeal of quirky comics getting figures and DCC reusing old molds. But I can't help thinking of the figures we could have got instead.

BTW the story for why Batman does this sounds amazing.

Reading Order

I've heard a lot of people say they read their favorites first. But for me it's usually: New series or issues I'm think are going to be the worst then the rest. I need at least one good read after the bad issue(s) to put me in a better mood. Luckily I have plenty of options in the next week.

I forgot it was Wednesday

I usually don't forget comic day. But I did go to the movies and have been feeling a little out of sorts lately. As a result I just barely stopped myself from being spoiled by seeing the mention of what issue scans were from before I saw them. I have another big comic haul coming in a week or so. Which means I'll have to be careful for awhile. I have to read the digital RHA at some later point when I'm feeling a little better. I might also save it for something to read after Robin War #2. If that issue is as bad as most of this event I'll need something to get me in a better mood.

I always knew I'd get the Gotham Academy Robin War tie in and I figured why not get this too? I might not enjoy the actual event but one tie in was already superior despite it only being a small part of the story.

I was planning on getting Gotham Academy anyway so I might get Teen Teens too. I figure the Robin War tie ins will probably be better than the event,

Live Action Teen Titans Canned

This was the same show that wanted to shove Batgirl in, right? If so I'm kind of glad, I didn't want more of the love triangle.

Star Wars Spin Off Movies

Rogue One is happening, I have misgivings about the rumors of a Boba Fett/Han Solo movie but I really want the Obi-Wan rumors to be true. The prequels were...odd...but Obi-Wan Kenobi was the best part. I'd love to see more of him and to see him in between episodes 3 and 4.

Top 5 Worst DC Events

Not my list but I definitely think there are some worthy candidates just by what I've heard of these. Since I haven't read them (besides a tie in to one) I can't give my own experiences. I did expect Millennium to be on the list but I'm glad it's not. While it was bad Millennium was so bad it was good. When you have Batman cutting Wonder Woman off when she's explaining her tie in to scream that he doesn't care...you know you have a gem.

Others reading things differently

Have you ever checked out a wiki page about a character or seen someone else describe a character and you don't know what their talking about? Because something wrong or you have no idea how they came to a conclusion? Is this just interpretation? This has to do with Essence.

Thoughts on possible releases

Toyfair should be next month which is usually the first time we get a look at new figures. Although some times there isn't much to show for one reason of another.

Star Wars The Force Awakens?

I saw it and enjoyed it. There are nickpicks but I think they might make more sense with the other movies. I don't think I'll do a review for the movie although I might do some metas. There's a lot to cover with the movie and how it connects to the rest of the saga.
