According to Direct Currents there's a list of Villains that are showing up. One in particular bugs me.
SPOILERS AHEAD
One that happens to be a character that doesn't seem to have the same history since New 52. Maxwell Lord. Yes he has powers but unless he has a past with the heroes, the same personality and some redeeming qualities I don't think there's a point in including him. That's what made him interesting and without it you might as well make a new character.

Max? I liked the old Max from JLI...but I hated the new evil Max. I wonder which one he will be?
ReplyDeleteIf it's the same Max from JLGL I'd be okay with him being a villain because at least he has his depth back.
