I have some concerns with some similarities. Correct me if I'm wrong with my Nightwing impressions since I don't read the current series.
Nightwing is working undercover (again) to take down the Court of Owls. He teams up with Raptor who according to the comments is obsessed with Nightwing and think's Dick is his kid. (If he was then the Gray Son stuff is pointless.)
Red Hood goes undercover working with Black Mask who he dubs his heir. Black Mask is buddy-buddy with him in a very father figure way.
I'm sure they do things differently. Like Raptor intentionally poisoning Dick versus Black Mask only gassing Jason to take out Artemis. But how did this happen?
