I've never bought any of the superhero dolls. Their too expensive, don't always look so good and they never make the ones I'd really want to collect. I did find less expensive ones that seem to have some quality to them though.
First is "Athena" who looks like the perfect Circe for Wonder Woman fans. Sure there's adjustments to be made but it's a step in the right direction. There are two versions of this, one has a shorter dress.
Next is Power Girl and I have to say this one looks better than the DC Direct 13" version. Not too bulky, true to the comics and a nice face sculpt. Judging by the pictures I've seen it looks like you can pose the cape.
These are all from the company called Super Duck. Prices vary but so far all of these are under $100 bucks. About $70 to $90 depending where you shop and if the bodies are included. While most superhero dolls are in the $100-$200 range.
Next up is Supergirl who has two different versions. Neither come with a body, just the heads and the costumes. The first is based on what I believe is the Michael Turner uniform from the comics.
The other is based on the current Supergirl tv show. I have to say I like how both of these turned out. I would have preferred a different comic version but I can see why it was picked. It's different enough from the tv show while still being well known.
